As some of u know, I have been on 80 cw over the last few USA mornings
1100z-1330z or later. Here is what I am dealing with trying to cpy USA or any
where....

--what I am told is tropical zone noise that just sits on the band near the
equator... runs S-7 mostly, here. Louder on some freqs that changes every
night meaning my xmit freq and split rcve freq must change nightly. NOT line
noise and not BCI, I checked.
--a roving buzz saw noise that has some note in it also that drifts onto my
freq for about 10-20 seconds at 10 over. It drifts onto and then away from my
freq. Do not know what that is, but it is why I often do not come back right
away. All computers are OFF.
--a turkey gobbler sound that appears most nights for abt 30 sec xmission
sometimes once, and sometimes up to 3 xmissions... it appears to track signals
and set down on them but goes away finally after up to three blasts.
--RF gets into my keying and makes me a worse cw op than I am.... explains my
bad sending (sometimes).
--My only antenna at present is a 80 Inverted V apex at 75 ft and ends at abt
45 ft. Hv plans for a loop.
--My rig is the IC-775dsp..... the dsp and analog NR on it are GREAT, but the
filters at 500 and 250 both ring like the Liberty Bell (that is why it cracked)
so no gain in s/n via filters. I hv waited 8 mos. now for my K3 !!!
--yes, I do own the ON4UN low band DXing book.... signed by John no less.
--no, I do not have land for a larger antenna.
--vy few non-NA stations know what CQ NA means nor what KN on the end of
xmission means. JA ops, on the other hand, will stand by if he is JA7Z-- and I
call for JA7G? (one dit lost) or shut down for my CQ NA calls......Outstanding
discipline!

HS 80m band is 3.500 to 3.535 STOP, cw and ssb ok. Thus, when I try SSB on
some good (my) night, I will listen first about 3.610 +- split from about
3.530... and will have to spot myself because no one tunes around anymore.

Please rpt ur call sign three times when I am giving 339 and 449 to everyone
and for me, it helps if you put DE in front of each signing of ur call....
resets my poor brain. QSB can take out one dit or a full letter. I may be
loud to you, but no one is loud to me except XW1B. HS0ZCW on qrz.com is ok.
Pse repeat this message to anyone who works 80m. HS0ZEE also works 80 CW often.
