SPECIAL ADDED NOTES: Does not look too good from what Lee provides.
Lee states there were "NO" sunspots during the month of August 2009.
As this was being written, we are approaching 60 days in row without
any sunspots since July 10th. Lee states, "This is not a typical cycle
start up graphing the last four solar cycles. It has been reported
that this is only the 4th time the sun has been blank for at least 50
days since 1849. The 3rd longest streak on the list is 54 days between
February-April 1879. The record is 92 days in 1913. For more details
on the solar cycle and sunspots, visit the following Web sites at:
                        http://www.solarcycle24.com
           http://users.telenet.be/j.janssens/Spotless/Spotless.html
On band conditions, Lee states that the low bands (160, 80/75 and 40
meters) continue to be very active on the North American continent.
It appears that 6 meter activity has closed down right after our last
  meteor shower (Typical!!!).
