NA-133. The 5K0T team is now active from Serrana Bank until December
1st. They did not operate from Roncador Bank "due to lack of

(Hungarian-International Police Association) Award" is available by only
making 3 different QSOs with the callsigns listed on the HA-IPARC Web site.
For details on the award, visit: http://www.ha3jb.com/award.html
Also, a new online log search is available at: http://www.ha3jb.com/onlinelog
ADDED NOTE: Gab states that the CN2IPA QSL will be out soon. Those who send
for a QSL, please write your E-mail address on your card, and he will advise
you by E-mail when your QSL arrives.

OD, LEBANON. Salvo, IV3YIM, is now active as OD5/IVV3YIM until April
20th (2009). Activity is expected to be 80-10 meters using SSB with a
possibility of some CW, RTTY, PSK and operations on 160/30/17/12/6 meters.
QSL via IV3YIM, by the Bureau or direct to: Salvo Vitale, P.O. BOX 52,
Gorizia, ITALY ZIP 34170.

OX, GREENLAND. Operators Ian/G3WVG and Nigel/G3TXF plan to operate as
OX5AA during the CQWW DX CW Contest (November 29-30th) as a Multi-2 entry
from the club station in Kangerlussuaq (Sondre Stromfjord) on the westcoast

PG6, THE NETHERLANDS (Special Event). Operators Peter/PA8A, Fred/PA8F and
Rob/PA3GVI will once again activate the big array, formerly used to
broadcast "Radio Netherlands", with the special callsign PG6G between
1200z, November 27th and 1200z, November 28th. The array antenna is a
curtain antenna with 8 stacked dipoles between two 400 feet towers.

See a video from their last visit at:
          http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=3vE1zk60v3E

POSSIBLE PIRATE. Ken, G4RWD (ex-ZF1WD), reports that the a "ZF1WD has
been spotted on the DXCluster recently with QSL information stated as
'via G4RWD', which is incorrect. Whilst I have operated several times
in the past as ZF1WD, I have not been there since 2002, neither did I
keep the license up to date due to the cost involved. I can only assume
that the callsign ZF1WD has either been re-issued by the Cayman licensing
authorities, or that this is a pirate operation. I can't find any reference
to this current ZF1WD operation, so I assume the latter."

QSL INFO AND NEWS.....................
QSL Routes. Johannes, DK8JB, reports that an interesting link to visit
for QSL routes that date back to 1987 is: http://f6gcp.free.fr/Base/

DO YOU HAVE THE CORRECT ROUTE? George, K6GT, Northern California Contest
Club's (NCCC) QSL Manager/Station Trustee for the club's callsign K6ZM,
informs OPDX that he has been receiving several QSL requests for cards
for 8P9AG. The original holder of K6ZM, Phil Frazier, passed away in
1991, and he had used the 8P9AG callsign on a trip to 8P-land in the
'80's. Clearly, since his key has been silent since 1991, he has not
had any 8P operations since then. Apparently, Andy, DL9USA, was reissued
the callsign and was active at the end of 2007. QSLs for that operation
should go to DL9USA at: Andreas Glaeser, PF 100 246, 03122 Spremberg,
  Germany.

DID YOU WORK KP4AO on November 23rd? Special event station KP4AO was
activated by the A.R.C. Arecibo Observatory. Activity was to celebrate
45 years of operations at the Arecibo Observatory Radio Telescope. For
every QSL received, a certificate will be issued. It would be desired
for a #10 BUSINESS SIZE SASE to be included with your QSL.

VK9L, LORD HOWE ISLAND (More Ops Needed). Bill Horner, VK4FW, member of
Oceania Amateur Radio DX Group Inc. (ODXG), reports, "We are looking for
more operators (couples or singles) for the VK9LA DXpedition after securing
extra accomodations at a second boarding lodge. As the island is almost
full, we need to act now to get this finalized. The ODXG and VK9LA Web
pages have details of the operation. As the plane is already full on the
arrival and departure dates, it will be necessary to arrive a day early
and leave a day later. I will change my flight to arrive a day earlier
to allow me to start unpacking and setting up. Urgently, E-mail me if
this suits any of you." If any of you are interested, let him know at:
