160m, 80m, and 40m CW. As there is only one aerial for 160/80m, operations will
alternate between these two bands.

the first ever 2m EME QSO to ZL7 was made with W5UN at 10:10z followed by a QSO
with KB8RQ at 10:34z. Equipment used at ZL7C was a single 12 element yagi and tx
power 150W, the rig was a Yaesu FT100. The US stations both have
large multi-yagi
An severe electrical storm went through the Chatham's tonight
at the time of their planned 80M and 160M operations and wiped out the bands.
Very few QSOs resulted

The operators here arrived in two contingents - one on Tuesday from
Christchurch, and the other on Wednesday from Wellington.
The first lot arrived to excellent weather on Tuesday and, beccause it was
late in the day
As you can see, it's a problem. Basically you need the call of the operator.
If all else fails, you could contact Jun JH4RHF who is a member of the club
there (QRZ.COM for address) and see if you can find out anything further.

About a week ago I opened an HTML paged email and I infected myself with W32
Badtrans virus. It's very nasty and behaves the same way as the Kak worm
virus by sourcing addresses in your own mailbox, firing it off while you are
not looking and sending itself to others. This thing probably sent
the file and delete it from the Recycle Bin

The bad part is: You need to contact everyone you have sent ANY e-mail to

days on end, for thousands and thousands of QSOs during a DXpedition it's
not a perfect world. It amazes me that they get it right so many times,
especially when you mix in lack of sleep, unruly
