That helped. The F9 key doesn't always clear it, but closing and
reopening the log window does.

And if F9 does not do it because you did something else in between, just
close the log window and reopen it from the QSO Entry window.

This condition also can occur if you use F8 to find a particular QSO or
set of QSO's.

I have been using DX4WIN almost since the beginning. Keep trying other
logging programs but end up back here. Here is my problem. It seems like
when I enter a QSO off line or edit a QSO my log only shows that QSO in
the log window. I clear the sort but it doesn't seem to do anything. If
I shut down and bring the program back up the full log is visible. I
know it is something very simple but for some reason I am missing it.
