Hi Loren,
The main DX4WIN screen has a window LOTW Upload Date.
This is automatically updated (if you say yes) after creating
the DX4WIN LOTW file...You can also show this field in
the logbook window of DX4WIN. This updates every QSO.
3 windows. QSL card, LOTW and eQSL can be updated.
73,
A feature from the old days when logs were on floppies. I think a modern
implementation should use two fields.

No good automatic way. Make the QSO window as big as you can using

That is what I do. I don't care when I sent the card, once I've
received it. Some people want that information.

Jim,
I was afraid of this...
Since I have a pile (about 210 QSLs) I just submitted the manual process seems
painful.
I was thinking of using your LoTW Compare tool and set the boxes so LoTW QSLs
are set to confirmed. Would that do it?
Thanks,
Loren

Please re-read the DXCC application note.
In DX4WIN 8.0x, there are three confirmed boxes: one for paper

I can't tell if the application will let you upload multiple ADIF
files, or if you only get one shot. Maybe someone who does this can
add more details, and this can be added to the DXCC application

Yes, you can make multiple uploads ... subsequent uploads will replace

The new procedure looks like an on-line forms completion system to
standardize the card-checking procedure for the Checkers. That's fine,
but I didn't see anything related to LOTW at first glance. -- Bob K8BL

Jim,
Yes, I have used that program a few times and am aware of how to use it. Just
wishing for some secret extra use...
OK then. I will manually set the fields.

I checked with ARRL. You can upload as many ADIF files as you'd like. The
results of multiple uploads will be cumulative, but restricted to only
keeping one (the last) callsign date per unique combination of band, mode
and entity.

Bob,
The only change you will see for LoTW is when you submit for an award. There is
no longer an option to have cards checked as a hybrid. The final pages of the
process are simpler. I just submitted last night for my 12M DXCC (and a pile of
band countries) and it is already showing as

With all of you getting DXCC confirmations so quick, it makes me wonder
what happened to my last application.
I did a LoTW application on line and sent in cards to ARRL the same date,
January 17, 2012. That is 11 weeks ago and no confirmation to date. I am
wondering what is the best way to
I keep these infos also. As Jim said you should use notes for this QSO
field. This field is really useful for any info specific to this qso only
and not to this call. If you have organized your records you could easily
track them. For example for evry oqrs request you should write OQRS 5$. So

Thanks Rick.
I forgot to look at that site. Thanks for calling it to my attention. I
have the post office receipt and a note when I sent the cards and the LoTW
application. Both were sent on
17 January 2012. I guess it will remain a mystery :-)

Fulton,
Yes, I understand. But by doing this don't you lose the QSL SENT date? So
you have no way to see how long it took to receive the card unless you use
NOTES FOR THIS QSO.

Once I have the QSL in hand, I don't really care when I sent it,
Jim,
I actually received a one hour turnaround today! I submitted my Lotw-only
application just before noon and it was processed by the time I got back
from lunch!
