Thanks Kostas, Yes, that is what I am doing now. I use DX4WIN to give me a excel .csv file and print it out. Then I use that printout to hand type my IOTA QSO's into the IOTA submission page on the IOTA website. After they process my latest application I go to "Download my QSOS as a CSV file" and print out their excel .csv to me and go back to DX4WIN and hand type the status from S to C. Working with the IOTA Contest updates are so much easier. I just upload my Cabrillo file to them and it checks for new credits. It tells me what new IOTA's I might have gotten credit for and which ones I already have credit for. In fact I just submitted my 2012 IOTA Contest log and am waiting for my card checker to complete the process then I will update DX4WIN.
I cannot just click on the Award flags button in the Award field select IOTA mixed and in the Action field select Submitted -> Checked. This will change ALL the S to C. But not all my IOTA's have been processed or approved so some will have to remain as S until they are approved. Right now I have a total of 517 IOTA's confirmed in my DX4WIN log. I have 249 credited or approved in the RSGB IOTA website database with 6 pending from 2012 IOTA Contest. In DX4WIN all 517 IOTA's still show S because I have not gone thru and manually changed them. I can't change them ALL from S to C because I still have 262 IOTA's outstanding that I have not as yet submitted for credit to RSGB. I was just hoping there was a better way of doing this similar to how DX4WIN processes LOTW uploads and credits. Also thanks for the QSO's and contest mults over the years. 73 -----Original Message----- From: dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net [mailto:dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of Kostas SV1DPI Sent: Thursday, February 07, 2013 5:34 AM To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Subject: Re: [Dx4win] DX4WIN and IOTA The procedure for submitting for awards for dx4win is as follows. Select the awards you want and submit. This produce a file. For iota award this file is used just to find the cards you need. You can always to make a search (f8) with the qso window expanded (f5) and look for iota mixed=s and get the same file whenever you want after the first submission. After that you must go to their site and manually write every card in their database. They recognise every qso is also submitted for iota contest. That is what the adif or cabrillo file is. After you have the cards checked you go and change the flags as Mel said. There is no need to import the file they produce.
