Hi Mark, Long time no see. Hope all is well. I don't know of a way to have two programs control the same rig as the rig only has one port. Unless you can configure the CI-V for one port and the serial for another? My Work around is Start WSJT-X first, as that is sensitive and will complain as

I've used DX4WIN for many years. It controls my IC-7800 perfectly, as expected. Now I'd like to also be able to control my transceiver by WSJT-X, as well. The problem is that they both fight for control of the rig. DX4WIN usually wins and WSJT-X presents me with an error message. Does

Turns out this is a problem with the fall update of windows 10, which by default enforces “controlled folder access”. Switch this off (in windows defender) and the update goes through seamlessly. I see this with a number of other applications which are denied write access to necessary
