Carol, Not sure how you can loose all your QSOs when importing a log. The only way to do this, as far as I know, is to start a new log using the same name as your regular log. DX4WIN keeps various backup copies of your log; see on-line help in the section “files” —Paul On Tue, Oct 29, 2019 at

Ignoring the sub modes for SSB should be easy to fix. Don’t think I should do this for the other modes. —Paul On Thu, Oct 31, 2019 at 11:18 AM Rick Murphy wrote: > Al, > > This is an interesting problem. > You have a Phone QSO with MODE=SSB, SUBMODE=USB. > DX4WIN probably puts this out as

I like using Groups instead of QSO notes. I would make a new group and then set its number in Preferences/QSO/group # then do the import. This puts the whole import under that group #. For me, having an empty QSO note for things like POTA ID or P2P info is more important. NS4Jay On Thu, Oct 31,

Hi all I am trying to modify an adif file so as to get a field to be imported into the "Notes for this QSO" box. What should be the header of the field ? Comment ? Note ? something else ? Is this "Notes for this QSO" field one of the adif definition ? For example, when I import an adif file

[Dx4win] Sub Mode Breaking LOTW Confirmations?

2019-10-31 Thread Allan W Schlaugat
Just checking to see if this is operator error or a bug/issue. When I set the submode in DX4WIN 9.07 (for example, SSB with a submode of USB), I do not get matches when I download the LOTW .adi file with confirmations, even if everything else matches up (date, time, call, mode, frequency, etc).
