[Dx4win] one or two computers

I am using a Yaesu FTdx5000MP with DX4WIN in one of two Dell computers. I have an Icom IC-7610 and have two choices. Maybe you guys who have this experience could give me your thoughts. Choice 1: FTdx5000MP and IC-7610 in computer 1 with DX4WIN (allows two transceivers) Choice 2:

[Dx4win] data transfer to pc

I have yaesu 5000 and have signal link hooked from tranceiver to pc. I can not get mode and band to transfer to FT-8 program or to DX4Win logging program. I assume it is something I am not doing with pc. Any suggestions appreciated. Don -- Donald Chamberlain 2 Coxswain Place Salem, SC 29676
