Jay, The 7300 can be set up to be controlled by both the USB port and the CI-V jack with two different programs at the same time. I run DX4WIN on my 7300 using the CI-V port. I also use WSJT-X on the USB port for audio and rig control. Once set up right, they work well together. The trick
