[Dx4win] Reciprocal
This might be a silly question but if I don't ask I'll never learn: the Sunrise/sunset window shows: Heading 108 degrees, Long Path 318 degrees and Reciprocal 218 degrees. Heading and Long Path are perfectly clear but what reciprocal does mean? -- 73 DX de PY2YP - Cesar __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

[Dx4win] DX4WIN UPDATER PROBLEM
JIM, and All I just updated to a new computer running Windows 7. Downloaded DX4WIN ver. 8.05 and got everything loaded and running correctly..logbook, MTTY, PSK, Winkey, etc. I then downloaded DX4WIN Data Updater ver. 5.1, unzipped to the DX4WIN directory, copied the .RC file to the DX4WIN directory, then ran the Updater. Updater added 8 new files with no errors. When I then tried to open DX4WIN I got the following error messages: 1.Invalid at the top level of the document. Line: 5 echo?xml version=\1.0\ encoding=\U. 2. When I attempt to open my logbook I get another error window.Access violation at address 0063FE4C in module 'dx4win.exe'. Read of address . Hit OK button, and QSO window opens. 3. Next error window pops up.A fatal error occurred reading the log file. Hit OK button. 4. Any attempt to do anything with the QSO window brings up the nest error window.Access violation at address 00627A28 in module 'dx4win.exe'. Read of address 0008. 5. I then closed DX4WIN, and got this error box.Access violation at address 0046981B in module 'dx4win.exe'. Read address 0057. I tried deleting all files and folders, and reloading into a different directory.all with the same results. Any ideas??? Re: [Dx4win] DX4WIN UPDATER PROBLEM
1.Invalid at the top level of the document. Line: 5 echo?xml version=\1.0\ encoding=\U. It sounds like some file didn't update correctly, like the URL was not found. I don't know which file it is, however, see if you can find out by examining each one in the UPDATE directory, looking for this xml version text at the top. I just ran the update myself and did not have any problems. Re: [Dx4win] DX4WIN UPDATER PROBLEM
I had the same issue with a new update. It is the fullist.xml file that is causing the problem. Delete the file in the save directory and the program should run ok again. Jim, for some reason the latest update with fullist.xml was the problem I had here. 73 Wayne WA1PMA On 4/15/2012 5:41 PM, Jim Reisert AD1C wrote: 1.Invalid at the top level of the document.
