Jim Reisert AD1C,
I have just upgraded from version 7 to version 9 (specifically version 7.07 to
version 9.01) … After opening my version 7 logfile (which had been copied to
the “Save” folder in the newly installed version 9) all DXCC checked status
data seems to have been deleted .
It was my understanding
Hi Jim,
1.I checked item 1 by going thru the DXCC window and choosing the more
rare entities. I found all to have IOTA's assigned.
2.Yes this is true for single island entities.
3.Yes the double back check is understood.
4.OK, it will not correct any previously entered wrong
Hi Don,
Can you send me your version 7 log (in a zip file please)

Bud, given enough time (of which I have little), I could add callsign
to IOTA mappings

Yes, but all new users should get the file automatically during
installation of 9.01 for the first time.
There should be no reason to offer it as an update.

Hi, I just noticed that new Bands aren't announcing in DX4WIN. Speakers
are working fine as I played something on You Tube. Everything is as it
was in 805. Audio/Voice has Band/Call. DX Alerts has New Band or Mode.
Any ideas? I use a Baby Monitor when I am upstairs so I need it to work.

Just to clarify...
When I import my WSJT-X ADIF file (log),
Worked fine.
Paul could you please eliminate the Sample log file from the list?

I can’t find adif.pmp file in dx4w805\SAVE\adif.pmp
I found it in a 2014 unzipped cty. file.
I copied it and pasted adif.pmp into dx4win\save directory.
Is this the correct thing to do?

Kostas is right. This is what you should do:
dx4w805\IMPORT\adif.pmp => dx4w901\IMPORT\adif.pmp
I'll try to fix the program in the next couple of days.

John,
There is an option on the Main Window | Radio | Ignore mode in real-time
When adding QSOs in real-time, a new QSO will get the mode from the last

Hi Cesar,
The file is provided so new users have something to look at.
Are you changing the file; and if so why?
I expect users to open their own file or create a new file but not use the
sample log.

It would be nice if dx4win updater could remember our previous checked
updates. So if I uncheck samplelog file once shouldbe remain unchecked
until I check it again. It not nice to have to uncheck it (and maybe
others - for example I maintain my own calendar and accidentally I
updated it one)
Hi Folks,
Some of you may have used this program to compare your DXCC award
credits in DX4WIN with those in the ARRL Logbook of the World system.
It's far easier than tracking down a discrepancy by hand, i.e. ARRL
says you have 301 entities confirmed on 17m, but DX4WIN shows 300 (or
302).
/I completed the order form and submitted it last week. When should I
receive the License Key? Bob, K5EYT
