[Dx4win] R: R: Fw: dx4win crash importing adi file from wsjt

2020-08-23 Thread Tibor M. Blum - IK2SAI -
Thank you Bernie.

Yes i did what you suggest.

I think that after having done once it should work al the time up to when i
don’t clear the wsjt log file.

I can keep always the same file living dx4win making the choice of the new qsos.

Thank you very much for your help.

I think tomorrow i will be here once again with another “problem” may be our
community is able to solve!

For the while all the very best.

Here’s The fix that work for me

I believe this started after a new update of WSJTX

Sometimes when WSJTX starts it tells you there’s an error ...but it doesn’t
tell you what to do.

you will have to make a small edit to the wsjtx_log.adi file in the WSJT-X log
files directory. Change the end of header marker from to .

I found the fix on Google

This fixed work for me.

Dear Ian thank you.
I have checked the file generated by wsjt and as you stated instead of EOH
there is just EH.
If i modify the file all is just running ok.
I just ask by myself why wsjt doesn't write the adi file as should.
This problem arised with this latest release.
Any way dear Ian this problemi is solved!

Tibor

Have you checked that the ADIF import file is correct? I seem to recall
that there was a bug and the ADIF file was showing 'ER' instead of 'EOR' at
the end of the record, or 'EH' instead of 'EOH' after the header. It was
something like that.

All the time dx4win crash.

Up to few days ago (before a clean reistallation of all the system) it was
working.

Any idea?

(Using dx4win 9.09.1259 and the lastest wsjt 2.02.02. Before i was using an
older version of wsjt on WIN10pro @64 bit)

Thanks

Re: [Dx4win] Broken Printer Driver in v9?

2020-08-23 Thread Wayne M

Hi All,

As Eric knows I have the same issue with a Dymo 450 printer. I am also
waiting to see if there will be a fix for this.

Anyone else having printer issues?

With version 9, it won't work. I get error messages saying that the
label size in the application (DX4Win) isn't the same as the printer.
The label size reported by the printer is correct.

The label size shown in DX4Win is *not* what I set it for when
editing. Try as I might, no matter what I enter, DX4Win will not
change it.

Others have reported that they, too, had luck with v8, but not v9.

I there a fix?

[Dx4win] Negative Search Filter

2020-08-23 Thread Anthony R Gargano
I am trying to do a negative search, that is, all records not containing
certain text in the QSO notes field. I use Remote Ham Radio at times and when I
do I note that QSO with “RHR” in the QSO notes field. To do a LOTW update I am
trying to filter all the records NOT containing RHR. The help file says to use
the designator “!*” or “!” in front of the text to do a not-containing search.
When I do that I get ‘no records found.’ Thoughts on what I am doing wrong?

Thanks, Tony N2SS
