[Dx4win] SWL Labels
I certainly do use the SWL facility and it works fine for me and always has in all versions I have used. I even print them directly to my cards. Most of the folks I know here also use the SWL facility there is nothing wrong with it. 5B4AGC/H2G/ZC4GB/G3LNS ---Original Message--- From: ARS NZ3O (Byron) FM29fx Date: 07/22/04 01:52:55 To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Subject: [Dx4win] SWL Labels I'm getting the impression that no one uses DX4WIN to generate SWL labels. Since it doesn't seem to work, maybe that should be dropped in future releases. Is everyone doing these by hand? 73, Byron ___ Dx4win mailing list Dx4win@mailman.qth.net http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jul 22 06:10:51 2004 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Date: Thu Jul 22 06:13:43 2004 Subject: [Dx4win] Printing label issue Message-ID: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hi all This is my second attempt to find help here. I am running 6.03 and cannot preview nor print labels. I get an error message. I did not have this problem with the earlier version. Hi Byron et all I use it too. Works fine on 5.02 The only thing I miss is not printing the WKD station. Maybe it was already implemented on recent versions, but I don't remember to read anything about it. 73 F.Costa, CT1EAT www.qsl.net/ct1eat - Original Message - From: ARS NZ3O (Byron) FM29fx [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Sent: Thursday, July 22, 2004 2:47 AM Subject: [Dx4win] SWL Labels I'm getting the impression that no one uses DX4WIN to generate SWL labels. I received several responses to my note regarding the use of the Print SWL Labels capability in DX4WIN. Some instructed me on how to use it. Thanks, but I didn't find anything wrong with what I was doing. But I really do appreciate the effort to help. Others asked what I was trying to accomplish. Let me describe again what is happening: I have never operated RTTY. And when I attempt to Print SWL Labels about two dozen labels show up in Preview, but randomly they have their MODE set to RTTY. When I check the logbook for that date and time (no callsign shown other than the SWL) there are QSO's but the mode isn't RTTY. So, I'm trying to locate the SWL entries so I can correct the MODE and print the labels. Oh, and make sure everything else on the label is correct. 73, Byron

Might the mode in your log/actually worked be PSK31, MFSK or some other digital mode that the ARRL counts as RTTY? That would surely explain it. If you upload your log to LOTW, those digital QSOs are counted as RTTY for DXCC credit. 73, Joe WD?M At 06:59 PM 7/22/2004, ARS NZ3O (Byron) FM29fx wrote: I received several responses to my note regarding the use of the Print SWL Labels capability in DX4WIN.
