Re: [Dx4win] Yaesu FT-450D
Tony, What interface are you using between the computer and radio? The new Yaesu rigs expect RTS handshake - if you have a real serial port or USB to serial converter with a cable that has all 9 wires set RTS=ON. If you don't have all 9 - or at least 2-2, 3-3, 5-5, 7-7 and 8-8, go into the rig's menu as set CAT RTS to *disable*. The new Yaesu rigs also have a time-out timer on the CAT line. Go into the rig's menu and set CAT TOT to *at least 1000*. Those those two settings seem to be the key to a lot of Yaesu CAT issues. 73, ... Hi Jan, It seems that the 60-meter band limits are hard-coded into the program. I could not find a way to change them from the Preferences. - Jim -- Jim Reisert AD1C, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
Re: [Dx4win] Yaesu FT-450D
Try checking RTS (RTS High). If CAT RTS in the rig is Enable, it expects RTS High in order to send data from the rig to the computer. Otherwise set CAT RTS TO *disable* in the rig. 73, ... [Dx4win] QSL label reprint
I have a need to search QSO's, and reprint bureau QSLs that already printed labels. But, no matter how I have the F2 key set up to mark a QSO for label printing, it will not set. I have used DX4WIN almost exclusively for all of my QSL managaer work for a dozen or more years now and never came across this problem before. I am sure that I have replied to second request bureau QSLs many many times. Isn't there a way to reprocess a QSO to print a label more than once for any method desired? Especially buro? (Using the F2 key please!) Re: [Dx4win] QSL label reprint
73 Kostas SV1DPI You can search for the printed QSOs (for example you can write the QSL date and maybe a combined search as Qsl Methos=buro) and then go to QSLsSet QSL flag and also make a Clear QSL date for these QSOs. Ypu can print them all again. Another way is to set the F2 to make this job: FilepreferencesF2 key. There make the F2 to Mark for printing a Label and not mark QSO as confirmed. Save and exit and then you manually find the qsos and press F2. I am not sure if the QSL date must be cleared to print the QSOs or not. Also have in mind that if you want to search for QSOs never printed you must write 01/01/1901 as a QSL date. For example you can search for QSOs you have received a card via buro and you have not sent a qsl. Press F8 and write Method=buro, Cnfm=y and QSL date=01/01/1901. That's it!! 73...Kostas Stamatis,SV1DPI __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
