[Dx4win] LoTW notfound
Hi, I found few notfound contacts in my latest report from LoTW. Newer saw this before - I do regular uploads/downloads and always check notfound file. Seems something changed arround 1st June. Looks like DX4WIN don't take mode right sometimes. Here is line from notfound file and ADIF record for same QSO from LoTW report. Earlier I had problems with phone and ssb modes - had to replace all phone to ssb with notepad in LoTW report file, but not this time. Any ideas? 73 Arunas LY2IJ X PY7RP11-Sep-2005 19:39 20m CW 6 APP_LoTW_OWNCALL:5LY2IJ STATION_CALLSIGN:5LY2IJ CALL:5PY7RP BAND:320M APP_LoTW_MODEGROUP:5PHONE APP_LoTW_MODE:5PHONE QSO_DATE:820050911 TIME_ON:6193900 QSL_RCVD:1Y QSLRDATE:820130609 DXCC:3108 COUNTRY:6BRAZIL APP_LoTW_DXCC_ENTITY_STATUS:7Current PFX:3PY7 CQZ:211 ITUZ:213 GRIDSQUARE:6HI22il eor __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
Re: [Dx4win] LoTW notfound
That ADIF code doesn't look right. Here is the problem: APP_LoTW_MODEGROUP:5PHONE APP_LoTW_MODE:5PHONE These are application-specific fields to LoTW. DX4WIN is looking for a field like this: MODE:5PHONE In addition, there is no PHONE mode in your logbook, it's probably SSB, so it should really be: MODE:3SSB How did you sign and upload those QSOs? Did you convert the real mode (SSB) to PHONE as part of the mode mapping inside the TQSL program? You should NOT do this if you want things to match when you download the QSO. I just downloaded my most recent QSOs from LoTW, and things look OK. Here is one example, MODE: is properly specified: APP_LoTW_OWNCALL:4AD1C STATION_CALLSIGN:4AD1C CALL:54A1TD BAND:315M APP_LoTW_MODEGROUP:5PHONE MODE:3SSB QSO_DATE:820130330 TIME_ON:6222815 QSL_RCVD:1Y QSLRDATE:820130611 DXCC:250 COUNTRY:6MEXICO APP_LoTW_DXCC_ENTITY_STATUS:7Current PFX:34A1 eor Maybe Paul can comment further. [Dx4win] Install 2.24
Downloaded and saved the 114.1 WINDOWS Installer Package. The file says tqsl-114-1, Windows Installer Package, 170kB. (does not indicate it is a zip file) I double click on the tqsl-114-1 icon then click RUN and I get a message that says This instalation package could not be opened. Contact the applicaion vendor to verify tat this is a valid Windows Installer package. OK What am I doing wrong? Re: [Dx4win] Install 2.24
The installer should be a .MSI file - you may have extensions hidden, however, so that's not a problem. It's not a zip file. The MSI installer is much larger than you report, on the order of 3.4 Mb. I'd re-download it as apparently something kept the download from completing. 73, -Rick On Wed, Jun 12, 2013 at 10:58 AM, n...@comcast.net wrote: Downloaded and saved the 114.1 WINDOWS Installer Package. [Dx4win] Backup deal of the day - Carbonite (via Groupon)
For those of you who still don't back up your computers: http://www.groupon.com/deals/gg-carbonite-homeplus This is a steal! It's the same service I use, but I pay $60/year for the non-Plus version. -- Jim Reisert AD1C, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
