[Dx4win] contest mode
When I enable contest mode, nothing happens. I don’t see a field for sequence #s and text for QSO doesn’t display in QSO notes. I tried changing to advanced user but that didn't help. Also, selection and edit group names are not available as filter selections. Am I missing something really obvious? I would like to use context mode in the future. 73 de Bill N9ESI William McEachern 3255 S. 44th Street Greenfield, WI 53219 414-321-9398 __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
Re: [Dx4win] contest mode
Hi Bill, In order to make this work, you must fill in all the information in the box that pops up when you select Contest Mode - including the date and time (which has to be before you start entering QSOs), the Contest Mode Enabled box must be checked and the text you want added must be entered. The sequence number appears in the line right below the program menu bar (which says File, Radio, Help). It can be sent as part of a CW message by using the appropriate macro in the CW Keyboard. The Text for QSO appears in the Notes for this QSO field in the Log Window after you enter the QSO - that is, you have to go back and look at it. Don't forget you can Disable Fields in the QSO Menu so that the cursor hops only to the fields you want to enter. Selection and Edit Group Names are a function of your user level. But in order to update the user level, you have to close and restart the program. Hope that helps. 73, Bud N7CW On Tue, Jul 2, 2013 at 2:02 PM, William McEachern wmce...@yahoo.com wrote: When I enable contest mode, nothing happens. [Dx4win] SWL label message
Hi I usually put a short message at the bottom of my labels (Tnx QSO/QSL!, PSE QSL!, CQWW Contest, etc.) but the message doesn't print when I do SWL labels. Is there some reason for this, or am I missing a check box somewhere? Not a big deal...just curious. Thanks! 73, Mike K9NW __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
Re: [Dx4win] SWL label message
Hi Mike, There are 3 lines in the Greetings box. The 3rd line is used for SWL labels. 73, Bud N7CW On Tue, Jul 2, 2013 at 2:59 PM, Mike Tessmer mtess...@mindspring.comwrote: Hi I usually put a short message at the bottom of my labels (Tnx QSO/QSL!, PSE QSL!, CQWW Contest, etc.) but the message doesn't print when I do SWL labels.
