[Dx4win] Kosovo

2014-05-24 Thread David Gould

I worked Z62FB (Kosovo) this afternoon.

It is not recognised by DX4Win or Clublog (There is an entry on QRZ.COM)

What is the status of Kosovo and what is the correct way to handle this QSO?

I would say Serbia for DXCC purposes.. ..
The Republic of Kosovo is a partially recognized state in

Southeastern Europe which unilaterally declared independence

from Serbia in February 2008.
Kind of like the mess in Ukraine going on now...

[Dx4win] DX4WIN + SSDR/SCat

2014-05-24 Thread Duane Calvin
I've made a scary (for me) change to the station here at AC5AA. I've moved
from my TenTec Orion to a FLEX-6500 running SmartSDR software. Has anyone on
the list made DX4WIN and Smart SDR / CAT work together? If so, was there
any black magic involved, or was it fairly straightforward? In making this
move, I'd hate to have to leave DX4WIN behind, and I think it should work OK
with SmartSDR. I'd just like to know there is an existence theorem.

Thanks and 73, Duane
