[Dx4win] Comparing Cards Confirmed vs. LoTW Confirmed?
I can't quite figure out how to determine which DX entities are confirmed via LOTW vs. those by a physical card. It's been ages since I had cards checked, and I know that the combination of cards and LOTW listed in DX4Win is different than the combination of cards and LOTW listed in LOTW. Then click on OK. Now generate a DXCC report/listing. Now do the same thing, but check only the LoTW box under Confirmation. Then click on OK. Now generate a DXCC report/listing. Re: [Dx4win] DX4WIN Data Updater v. 7.01 released
Hello Dennis - Your attachment didn't come through the reflector. Perhaps the program was never installed properly? There are three files: dx4wupd.exe dx4wupd.ini dx4wupd.rc Do a search for dx4wupd.* Windows Button; type in the box that says /Search programs and files /and see what you get. Mine didn't find anything on the first search, so I had to tell it to search again in Computer (WTF?!? Ohthis is Windozenever mind) and it finally found them. Just delete them and install the new version. Maybe reboot after deleting and before installing. Make sure you install the new version in the same directory as the main DX4WIN program. I made a separate directory called Radio_Programs (catchy title, eh what?) and keep everything in there: C:\Radio_Programs\dx4w805 C:\Radio_Programs\N1MM Logger+ etc... Jim - please correct me if I told him anything wrong! Re: [Dx4win] DX4WIN Data Updater v. 7.01 released
Please excuse the stupid question, but, I cannot find the previously installed updater in my Programs and Features list What's the name I'm looking for? -Original Message- From: Jim Reisert AD1C Sent: Thursday, March 19, 2015 12:22 AM To: DX4WIN Reflector Subject: [Dx4win] DX4WIN Data Updater v. 7.01 released I've released DX4WIN Data Updater v. 7.01. The release notes are below. I recommend that if you have installed a previous version, that you uninstall it, from the Windows Control Panel (Programs and Features). This will not remove your custom settings. Then install the latest version of the program: http://dx4win.ad1c.us/updater/#history There have been extensive changes, mostly in the area of error checking. If you have any problems during the installation, or with running the program itself, please let me know ASAP.
