Hi Vassilis,

Until DX4WIN is updated to support more modes, log them using a mode
you will probably *never* use (say, Olivia). Then later on, you can
search for those QSOs and change the mode back to MSK144 (using
Multiple QSO operations).

In order to upload the ADIF file, you will have to edit the file you
export from DX4WIN, changing:

Olivia
-to-
MSK144

Re: [Dx4win] LOTW issue

2017-04-26 Thread Rick Murphy
The wording is subtle, but what is says is "when contact are manually
removed or updated".
That means "when the ARRL LoTW staff manually removes or updates them."

Yeah, except for this:

*Can I delete QSOs that I've submitted?*

No. If you've submitted a QSO containing erroneous information, correct
the information and submit the QSO again
.

So how can the total be affected with an action that can not be taken?

The ARRL has answered my question:

Cesar,

I spoke with the IT Department and they tell me that the difference in those
numbers can be caused by many different things.

One of them is that when contact are manually removed or updated, the system
does not automatically correct itself.

It looks like that someone you worked had some contacts removed from the
system, which is affecting your totals.
The IT guys will reset your totals when they get a chance.
