I've just installed a dual serial port card into my PC however despite all
my efforts to remove the previously installed virtual USB ports the software
insisted on creating them as Com 9 and 10. Windows insists com 2 - 8 are in
use (only com 1 and 8 actually are) so reasigning the ports

Does anyone know the settings to get the Omni VII talking to Dx4Win. I've
tried setting the baud rate to 57600
and the address to 00 but nothing. I have output from the Omni as I can see
it on my microham interface

I have the same settings. Also, DTR and RTS both high. Polling 5000 ms.
Works fine under 7.03.16. Used to work fine under earlier versions as
far as I remember.
I am going through a MicroHam MicroKeyer but that shouldn't make a
difference.

I'm trying to get the CAT interface working with a FT1000D. It works fine
under Writelog so I know the interface, comm port and radio is working but
when I try to get it to work under Dx4Win the interface times out. I can see
the rig being polled but that's all.

Hello,
Each time a new spot comes in from the cluster the logbook window changes
band/mode to match the incoming spot. I knew how to turn this off once but I
just can't figure out how to do it at the moment.
