I second the vote for SyncBack. It is very flexible and has been
totally reliable for me. I started with the free version but the SE
version which costs $30 for use on 5 computers will back up files that
are open or locked which means that if the automatic backup occurs when
you have DX4Win
I am running DX4Win 7.05.04 but nothing has changed from previous versions.
As I get more QSO's in the log (600k now) this issue becomes bigger.
DX4Win configuration has the same call window and the log book
window displayed. Then do an F8 search for call sign (AD1C for example)

Tim,
Why throw away any contacts. I will be in the MARAC Contest and in the
past I have worked many INQP folks. I need RST and your county and you
would need RST and my state. Why care if I also sent you my county? It
is extra information that is not required but that should in no way

Jim,
No way to edit the counties. Yes, version 4 has several errors (at
least Autauga,AL, Yuba,CA,
1 in WV and did not include the new county of Broomfield,CO). Upgrade
to ver. 6.02 which
I can verify has no county errors since I just finished USA-CA and used
it for logging. If you

the 6.02A addressed some county searching isseues and some

couple of
PCs and need to reload DX4Win.

There is more to it. Adams, CO and Arapahoe, CO do return the correct county
while others return the next county AND Broom field, CO (my home) does not
even show on the map, but it is in the list, and it returns NOT FOUND.

No, it can't be edited. But it was fixed in 5.03, along with several
others. You need to update/merge your country file.

Can DX4Win ver 5.03 produce a list of counties worked/mailed/
confirmed by mode such as CW? I know that it does give a
summary of counties by mode but not a specific listing.
