And likewise, some only respond via the Direct method. As in, they need a
little help with money to cover the expenses of the DXpedition, so they
feel the need to insist on Direct with a payment.

It's a great feature. I go on Clublog often and look up callsigns I've
worked to find out which ones were DXpeditions that did the OQRS method.
I've got quite a few cards that way. And there are a few DXpeditions, that
the OQRS is the ONLY way to get a card...they don't do DIrect or Bureau
cards.

2020-12-30 Thread Alan Zack
OQRSd = DIRECT REQUESTED
OQRSb = QSL via BURO REQUESTED

Some DX will only reply via the BURO but most give you the choice of
BURO or DIRECT. BURO is free, DIRECT requires a payment, I usually
send a donation with my fee.

Hello David,

Look on Clublog (there are probably other places, too) for stations who have
OQRS activated. You may request cards to be sent direct (for a fee) or via
the bureau for free.

For OQRSd, you pay via Paypal (usually). It is VERY convenient.
