Per AD1C's suggestion, I've reloaded the latest .cty file (twice) and find no change in how the program handles the entry of any W5Axx call. It still instantly shuts down at the A keystroke. If I enter W5xx and backspace to insert A the entry is accepted. If I make the same entry on another

I haven't seen this thread before, so forgive me if this has been mentioned. On several occasions when some program has acted very strangely in response to a seemingly unrelated keystroke, I've found that there was a problem (like a sticky key) with the keyboard. So you may think you are typing
