ADIF uses the number for countries as a standard to eliminate the DXCC label confusion between different programs. I don't think it's available as a field in DX4Win reports, though, but that's irrelevant for importing/exporting logs between programs. 73, Zoran WA7AA __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

Fwd: [Dx4win] Country number for Ducie and ETimor are wrong
Dear Jim: The ADIF crew has decided to assign our own numbers. We did this because the ARRL assigns the numbers well after the country becomes valid. So use the wrong numbers posted at the ADIF site. Currently, the ARRL does not want these numbers from us for anything. But I will update the site to show the official ARRL number, so in case they ever want it we can easily export their number in a separate field. [Dx4win] Country number?
When exchanging files using ADIF, there is a field identified dxcc which is a number to represent the country. Two related questions: Where can the master list be found? How does one add this info to DX4Win when creating/adding a new country? Looking at the ADIF export file of my DX4Win log, all the countries I've added since purchasing DX4Win do not have an entry for dxcc. Thus, when imported into another program, the receiving program has no idea where the QSO goes, or how to count/credit it, etc. This is probably old news to most of you, but I've just run across it, and I cannot find any references to the solution. [Dx4win] Country number?
Thanks for question #1. The list is at http://www.hosenose.com/adif/adif.html - for those who might want it. And it appears to be current, with Chesterfield, East Timor, and Ducie at the end. Now, how do I tell DX4Win that those are countries 512, 513, and 511 so that information is included in any ADIF export? --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- kept) text/html The reason this message is shown is because the post was in HTML or had an attachment.
