I forgot to mention one thing. If you are still running DX4WIN on
Windows XP (why?), you should not do this. I don't think that the
current https protocols are supported on Windows XP.

[Dx4win] Secure URLs for QRZ.com (Ext Data)

2023-09-03 Thread Jim Reisert AD1C
Hi Folks,

Today I noticed that my installation of DX4WIN was (still) using
insecure URLs (http://...) for accessing QRZ.com. I changed them
https://

You can find the settings on the "Ext Data" tab of the DX4WIN preferences.

Here is what I have now:

Website callsign lookup

Address: https://www.qrz.com/db/

Online callsign lookup

Initial Callsign Lookup Address:

https://xmldata.qrz.com/xml/current/?username=[USERNAME];password=[PASSWORD];agent=[PROGRAM]

Callsign lookup address:
https://xmldata.qrz.com/xml/current/?s=[SESSIONID];callsign=[CALLSIGN]
