I have been a DX4Win user for many years and it has always worked great. Until yesterday when CW Keyboard window displayed "Winkey not responding". I tried everything to get it working: new cable, different COM port, many cold re-boots, even a different WinKeyer. The program seems to find the Winkeyer port because instead of saying "DX4Win can't open COM2", the error message appears only in the CW keyboard window. Indeed I can't send memories or change speed now. Task manager reports no other applications running. This is Windows 7 Pro. Winkeyer works as always with N1MM Logger with same keyer and COM port. I have 30,000 QSO in the program and I operate only CW.
