What is the value of the cheque and why does he not cash it in himself or endorse it over to someone such as yourself? There would be a long delay, possibly 2 months or more before the funds were cleared fully, before the spend could be made. You will understand we have to be very careful with overseas cheques of this nature as there is a lot of fraud with company cheques going around. All market makers have become extremely cautious and most will refuse.
