Does anyone know about the linux port for netops?
Netops was/is very popular in some M$ circles and apparently they had a
linux version some time ago...

Hi Simon,
The arts are fairly well represented in Ubuntu with the GIMP and Blender,
but how about Music? (Programs that can be used for Music Theory classes,
for example, not just Audacity for recording music).
Have you had a look at http://ubuntustudio.com/? Some interesting stuff.
Could one install the ubuntustudio-audio/video/graphics package on any
Ubuntu core distro? That is, use them without necessarily dedicating a
whole computer computer to ubuntustudio? It seems, from the description,
that one could.
I imagine one could. Should just be a collection of
clutter involved in such a process (ask any MOTU about that one) as
well as help formalise things a bit and provide a central point of feedback.
All comments greatly encouraged,

this at UDS as well (admittedly under a
Kubuntu BoF) and a spec was born. I just cannot remember what it was
called since it changed name and I can't find it. Was more to do with
look 'n feel though but I thought I'd cc Ken in anyway.

distributer querying the different ISOs. The desktop CD
is referenced as the type of CD .. most people will want to use. Given
that we don't actually ship it on shipit.com we should maybe reword
this as the obvious question is: if it's the most popular, why do we
ship the server?
