Hi all,
I'd like to upgrade my ltsp users to the latest stable openoffice
version. The repos are apparently not tracking upgrades for OO. Can
anyone tell me the the preferred path for an upgrade?

I second this request. The ability to globally admin user preferences
is my #1 need. Sabayon has been broken for a long time and is pretty
clumsy to boot. Gconf2 is pretty arcane as well. Is there any way to
build on the KDEKiosk tool?

Remove old OOo and install new one from OOo deb-package.

Linux deb package works just fine with Ubuntu.

i have good news and bad news.
first, the good news. the one computer that wouldn't connect was a cable issue
- the protective cover for the locking pin hit the case before the connector
was set in place. after it was set in place, i was able to get into the
