Many thanks for all of the advice. When building, I avoid too much heat and too much force. Just needed a little more pressure and it seated just fine. Worked first station last night. Now to build the tuner and go backpackingand fix the intermittent LED.

Hi I have not tried it but there are some glow in the dark plastic sheets that once charged up with a flashlight will glow brightly for several hours. This is not the stuff you played with as a kid. This sheeting will put out some serious light for quite a while with only a few seconds charge
