That's what I'm hoping, Lexa.
Actually I don't see any reason for CE marks at all. It's just an
obstacle put in place by EU bureaucrats to help keep them in a job and
make things over here more expensive. I don't know what it was
supposed to achieve but it doesn't seem to have made a difference
Strictly speaking, the CE mark was originally intended to ensure the free
movement of goods throughout Eu, so that, for instance, one country in the Eu
could not prevent goods from being sold from another country because they did
not meet certain criteria, eg emc, wheel size, fog horn

As far as EMC is concerned CE markings don't really seem to help, but in other
areas such as safety or use of toxic materials, one would hope that they do. The
The CE mark also applies to products coming into the EU from elsewhere in the
world. e.g. Switched Mode PSU's from China, although the amount of EMC

by them might lead one to believe otherwise !
Putting a CE label on a product is easy, enforcement of standards is not.

Hi Paul.
The image shows to be 78.125 inches by 28.736 inches. If divided the number

Perhaps I am missing something.

Hi, Don.
Well I finally did get around to checking out the KX1 with a signal generator.
Here are the signal levels at which I can barely distinguish a signal:

20m -120dBm
So, 30m does appear to have a problem.
I'll have to try re-tweaking the 30m trimmers,

Yes, peak the trimmers on 30 meters - use a fully insulated tool (like a
