have both with only the stock 2.7kHz filter. I only need the narrow roofing
filters when I am near extremely strong local stations, which doesn't happen

I have 2.7k/1.8k/500/200 in my Main but
only 2.7k/500 in the Sub. When I want to use diversity, I
just remember to use a WIDTH which will auto-select either
the 2.7k or 500. This way I can still use the 1.8k/200 for
severe QRM situations in non-diversity and the 2.7k/500 for
2.02 is the latest public release, 2.34 is the latest beta release (a/o 1616
UTC, 30-Aug-2008)
Many people are loading the beta releases, to take advantage of newly

Static crashes permitting, the Elecraft net will be active again this

both A and B freqs change together. the smaller knob controls the B
VFO as it should.

I have been looking at the KRC2 manual and was reminded that the KRC2
can use serial band decoding. You might want to try it because it seems
to be the easiest (but I am still unsure about the 6 meters/60 meters
decoding.

I seemed to be having problems with NR not responding constantly when selecting
it. Sometimes it would turn on sometimes not, the same with tune, tx not able
to disable them once set. If I powered the rig down they would work for a bit
then go back to the same mode.
This all worked

The narrowest filter for SSB is the 1.8khz filter. I have the 2.7,
1.8, 1k, and 400 hz, and it has worked well for my needs. The 1.8 has
been the least useful. The 1k and 400 are very handy for CW and RTTY.
I have not tried the 250 hz 8 pole, but it is only a bit narrower
than the 400 hz.
Figured it was time to post a new set of graphics. Maybe it will spur
on some more people posting that they have received their units.
Perhaps this will help some of those still waiting for their units to

SB-220 amps, all you need to do is connect a shielded
RCA cable between the units - how easy is that? !!!
I also found out that UPS had shattered the bandswitch
