Jeff,
The VCO frequency will always be the K2 dial frequency plus the IF
frequency for all bands through 17 meters. For the bands 15 meters and
above the VCO will be at the dial frequency minus the IF frequency.
Yours are all correct. The manual list is correct for an IF frequency
of 4915

Is there a list of all the toroids to wind for the K2? I know I could

After almost 10 years with my K2/qrp I have acquired a K2/100 and of course it
has the computer control feature that my last basic k2 did not have.
I was using CWget and CWtype with my other rig but I am wondering if there is
something else that I can use with the K2 via the KIO2 interface. [
why would you need such a list?

Hi Ron,
You can use the XVx OFS menu entry to enter an offset of +/- 9.99 kHz
for each transverter band.

The female mini-plug marked SUB RX is for a 1/8 stereo cable that goes
into the back of a microHAM MK2R or MK2R+ for subreceiver audio in. The
37-pin cable was full, so that line was made separate. I don' t know the
answer to the Inhibit question, but I would recommend you ask on the

If you set CONFIG:SPKRS to 1, you can use a mono plug.
If you have it set to 2, and accidentally plug in a mono plug, the
resistors should prevent damage
Can you also look at putting AM compression back at this time too?

Do you have a known good receiver that will tune 8.215 MHz? If so, use

You said the Softrock was *not* working. The Softrock will have to work
