First be certain you have the correct pin on U2 - it is the uppermost
pin of U2 and nearest the right side panel.
If you remove the screws from the control board and tilt it slightly
forward, you can easily probe that pin from the back side of the board.

By the way, this is an odd and awkward way to add a sub receiver to the
K3.
If you use an Icom 756 Pro to do the listening, it's also an odd and
awkward way to add a bandscope to a K3. I did this in CQP and it works
fine (thanks to W0YK for the tip a few years ago).

25 amps within 1/2 second.
the power out is 99.7 watts. and the Hi Current warning comes on...
supply voltage is 14.1 in stand by and 13.3 in tune shown on the K3

Wayne, any hope of firmware updates for the K2? My favorite would be keeping
mode and ATU setting per VFO. I'd be willing to purchase a more expensive
