I guess that's my problem... Wide CW to me is greater than 1 KHz BW, which I often use. A weak signal in these wide passbands can be improved alot by shifting the passband. But a 0.01 step, assuming it even covered the entire range, would be pretty tedious for such wide BW. So, yeah... I use both
