Vic, Yes, it is that T7, and you have the current winding ratio. Some of the earlier K2s used a 13 to 4 turns ratio - I am not certain when the cut-over was made, but I believe it was in the low 1000 SN range. Many of these early K2s have already been changed - I have done several myself

That assumes that the airflow is the predominant source of noise. In my case, the airflow noise is secondary to what I believe is bearing noise. At low speeds, this motor noise is what I hear mostly. It is the same across 2 sets of UTEC fans. I've posted a recording of my K3 fans at
