trying to set it up with S-meter mode Absolute, not Relative, since I am
using an XG2. I ended up going back to relative and things are behaving

When you change the fuses, you insert the fuse holder so 220 is visible in a
little window instead of 115. That changes the wiring to the power
transformer input for 220 volt mains operation. It's described at the
beginning of the Owner's manual.

You may be misreading something. The ONLY true receive-only antenna is
available with the KXV3 option

A hollow conductor is not analogous to a coaxial cable. It has no

746 and I didn't care if the audio was distorted. It provided an amplitude
limited FM signal to my Hal DXP-38.
