Thanks everyone for the responses both on and off the reflector. I don't
believe there is a problem with LP-Bridge and the new K3 FW beta as I was

The latest K3 firmware revisions include a high-accuracy S-meter
command (SMH) that was targeted at the S-meter Lite application.
It's possible that other apps are using it, too, and trying to poll
for it too fast. In any case, Larry and I will investigate.

Not yet. But note that the KX3 supports the same rich remote-control

would expect Linrad to work very well with the KX3, for example. In the

Hi all,
Since this summer I am a proud owner of K3-10/F and don't want to waste

I guess that I have a problem with loose buttons in upper right corner of

For example, if I press MV button, other surrounding buttons are also

The other buttons do not move.
I suspect that the rubber spacer pad between the front panel board and
the 2D connector on the upper right corner of the K3 is not in place.
You can see the 2D connector if you open the top cover and look - the

Hi Dragan: If you press much harder than necessary to activate the switches,
the board on which the switches are mounted can flex slightly which makes
all the switches move. Pushing as hard as I'd care to in the upper right, I
can make the switches in that area move perhaps as much as 1
Hi Guys
I did not assemble my K2 (no 4099) which I bought second-hand and I now wish

Locating those screws is actually easy. Look down between the Front

The one on the right is easiest - just remove the screw.

Don's quite right Dragan. I had forgotten about the corner bumpers. Mine has

Dragan,
Yes, putting some non-conductive material about the thickness of a PC

Use some glue between whatever you material you use and the Front Panel

Thanks for help.
I fixed it by placing a small piece (6x6 millimeter) rubber, about 3mm
thick.
It's stiff enough to prevent movement of PCB. Now, feeling is much better.
BTW, I don't have a problem with this rubber buttons feeling.
Get used to it during Spectrum 48K time :))

Hi All,
I haven't seen much of anything lately about the KAT500. Is there any
