Hi,
If your monitor has a native resolution that is not one of the selections on
the P3 menu you should contact Elecraft support and they will consider
adding it to the list in a future firmware revision. This matter was
discussed extensively when the SVGA was first announced. So your problem

They'd learn all they need to know to be competitive.

OK, problem solved! *The baud rate was not set to 38400 on the K3*. It was
set to another value. Now the P3 is playing like it should! and still
plugged into the K3 +12 volt DC out!
Thanks to all that e-mailed me with help and encouragement!

Like the KX1, the KX3 will include a menu entry for enabling a full

Hi Joe,
Save your money, it won't work. My understanding is that DVI is a digital

I installed the P3SVGA board in my unit yesterday. On mine, it also does not
display properly in 1920x1080. I have an Acer H243H monitor. It natively
supports Full HD, 1920x1080p. When I set the P3 SVGA output to 1920x1080,
the monitor confirms that it has switched to that resolution. However,
I discovered the same thing. Guy at the local small computer shop said
do not bother. So I checked my weather computer to discover it had a DVI
connector in back then just bought a DVI-D cable which the display card
recognized fine. then used the now empty VGA connector/cable with the
P3.

I would suggest checking your monitors settings to make sure it is not

Thanks, Byron, but I have already done this. No joy. The 1920x1080 is a 16:9

From your description it seems to me that whilst the resolution is correct
