When I fire up the Utility, it stays in Initializing state until the
connection attempt times out. This is repeatable.

Hi All,
Having ordered a KXPA100 sometime ago I watch the Shipping Status occasionally.
I would have to say its not kept very current.
So what is the real current shipping status of the KXPA100?
Thanks in advance,

Everyone,
I have a K3 serial number 934. Having read the posts concerning all the
problems with the concentric knobs I was concerned about the knobs but they
were working fine. Well, several years later, finally the upper small outer

Has Elecraft started to ship the new KXPA100's. We normally hear comments
on the reflector from those who have received the first ones. It's been
very silent?
I placed my order within a few hours of the announcement for orders and have
not heard anything.

Hi Irwin,
Yes, we're now shipping the KXPA100/KXAT100s. As usual for a new product, we're
proceeding with caution so that any issues that come up with firmware or
documentation can be dealt with ahead of the bulk of shipments. We made a few
firmware and doc tweaks last week and make a couple
In Theoretical Physics it is common to use what physicists call God Given

Currently there does not appear to be a way to querry the kat500 to determine

That reminds me of a story from my youth. My friend was showing his ham station to his

80 meters? she said, in her thick Hungarian accent. Is that dangerous?

Horsepower works for me. When you equate power to horses, you get a much
more graphic understanding of waste than you do with watts. And anyone
who can't make contacts with 6.7 millihorsepower is doing something wrong.

Is there any chance you have T4 wound for the better efficiency at 5

If so, be aware that this winding ratio is *only* for a QRP CW only K2.
If the KSB2 is added, it must be changed to the standard 2:3:1:1 ratio.
