Are the memories antenna selection sensitive? In other words, will the
tuner look at the memories learned for antenna #2 - when using antenna
#3 - when both antennas are being used on the same band?
Thanks,

Bill,
I don't think it will do that - there can be completely different
antennas connected for the same band each one needing completely
different tuning solutions.

When you have selected antenna 3, only memories saved with ANT3 are examined.

I would like to delete Macros from the K3.
Deleting them from the K3 Utility doesn't seem to do it.
Suggestions?

Help:
Bill,
If you are referring to the M1-M4 buttons, check the right column of
page 21 in the manual to replace the Macro assignments with messages.

Wanted to thank everyone who responded to my inquiry about a hard case for
the K3. I ended up purchasing the Harbor Freight #69315 ((18 X 13 X 6).
It runs $25 and ended up being exactly what I was looking for; certainly not
what you would want for shipping, but perfect to take your K3 to FD,
Thank you David, that is what I needed to know. I have two antennas for
80 meters - NVIS and a 160 doublet. Eventually, I will extend the
doublet to a double extended Zepp. Being able to teach the KAT500 for
each antenna is a real plus.

In the Edit Macros window of the utility, first read macros 1-8 from the K3
to make sure you keep those that you don't want to erase, clear the text
from the Macro Commands textbox for each macro you want to erase, and then
write macros 1-8 to the K3.

I guess I should've asked what M2, M3, and M4 are as well. I figured
they'd be SWT21-24 but that doesn't seem to work.
Is there a comprehensive list of the switches somewhere?
