I think I've got it sorted now. The filter offsets were marked as -79 and -97. I took this to be Hz, but by looking at the noise spectrum on an analyser I needed to set the offsets to -0.97 and -0.79. I've still got an odd effect on SSB. After setting it up according to the handbook, things
