Also, it will automatically protect itself with margin if the temp at the PA

antenna and band, you can use the ATU CLS setting which effectively
bypasses the ATU and shows you the antenna SWR.

flavour. However, I do own a KPA1500 which is nicely designed and built, and

equivalent to K3 Utility. All else (digital modes, remote operation etc)

I own an early K3, early KAT500, early KPA500, and early
KPA1500. Each a great product with great documentation and customer
support. I now also own a FLEX 6600. SDR is the future of radio. The P3
just is not state of the art, and it's poor value for its cost. Its
shortcomings

Either they do not respond instantly or the processor is " Busy" doing
something else. This to me extremely irritating and frustrating.
