I have a new, unbuilt W3FPR kit for the K2 which supplies a fixed audio
output level for use with digital modes and related functions. The kit has
all the parts including the custom PCB. I'd like to get $40 for this,
shipped USPS domestic.

Just for clarification - this T1 was not factory assembled - I built it from a
kit a while back.

I guess in the KPA3 config there is the KPA not „on“.
KPA3 amplifier module: set the KPA3 menu
entry to PA NOR. See menu entry listings for
information on other settings.
Set to PA NOR if KPA3 100-W amp installed. Set to PAIO NOR if KPA3 is
not installed, but the KPAIO3 transition PC

You’re right, not all cables work. If you have one by Prolific, best advice is
to bin it.
Elecraft supplies a cable with the FTDi interface, or you can buy one
elsewhere. Don’t buy a cheap one, it’s a false economy.

I have been able to recover my stuck K3 at MCU LD with an old Serial to USB
cable.I want to use it with my N1MM but find the transmmiting is not clean and
sure it is due to the quality of that cable. Which one would you recommend to
buy so my TXing will be clear and clean.? I know

Apparently the 100 Watt PA has been disabled. Go to "Config" (Press and hold
MENU), rotate VFO B until you see "KPA3", then rotate VFO A to select "PA
nor."
Remember, it is always a good idea to back up your K3 configuration. Use the K3
Utility to do a Config Backup. If you ever have a

just to let y´all know that I have finally solved the problem in my K3..!!!
A Ham friend has given me a old cable Serial-USB and it has worked.!! The K3 is
now running again.! Very happy here so I don´t need to send it to Italy.!
Theres one thing I don´t understand
