Hello All,
I have a KX2, KX3, PX3, KXPA100 and K4. I use my KX2 for QRP exclusively
mostly portable. My KX3, PX3, and KXPA100 was my home station until I
received the K4 a year ago. It is the finest rig I have ever owned. I use
my KX3, PX3 and KXPA100 at a second QTH but I also user it

Good Evening,
I spent my week practicing Y-turns in the forest. My truck still
has side mirrors and tail lights :) Morning fog helped soften the deep

As a new owner of Elecraft products, after owning rigs from the big three
companies, over 50+ years, I am very happy and impressed with Elecraft
equipment and customer support. Much, much better than the big three.
I own a K4D, with 500 amp and tuner, which I had to wait for too.
Because they've had it for three or four weeks with no response. I've lost
confidence in E.

Why not use Elecraft? They just repaired my K3 in about a week, including
a phone consultation and 24-hour burn-in. It doesn't get any better.

Can anyone here recommend a non-Elecraft repair person or facility that is

I know Morse. I operate CW 95% of the time.
My order is for a long-promised and non-delivery-updated power amp for a
K3/10. And before you come up with some BS about "now's a good time to try
QRP", I've operated 11 of the last 12 years at 5W or less.
The fact is, Elecraft's poor communications
When I ordered my KX3, the mic was optional and I didn't order it.
If you think this topic is about microphones, you're not paying attention.

None; that is why email clients have filtering or muting.
This is apparently a point of frustration and contention about Elecraft's
customer service; as tedious as this thread may be, it's also setting
expectations for future customers and giving Elecraft an idea of sentiment
that might motivate
Friends, Why bring up the CW v SSB canard. There is a supply issue. I
too prefer Wayne to stick to engineering new features and work arounds. It
is good that on iccassion he lets us know what he is doing. Wayne and Eric
are active hams. A complaint was warranted but Elecraft is

I waited for the KPA500, patiently, for months.
I waited for the KPA1500, patiently, over a year (prepaid in full).

I didn't once ask for an update or cancel
