I have been using this without any trouble on WIN 8.1 Pro then,
I installed a new hard drive, and I can not re install the program.
When I go to install I have a pop
and warnings
about uninstalling .net framework.
So I need some input on this before I attempt anything and possibly mess up
a fresh Windoze install.

KPA500 LCD voltage metering also fluctuates rapidly when in Operate mode and
under load. Nominal voltage 60 volts at 500 watts output. Fluctuation

My KXPA100 also has a slide switch. I confirmed that it works properly
however,
when used with the KX3 and *KX3 to KXPA100 Integrated Adapter Cable*
The amplifier is powered up and down with the KX3 power button's. So you

Issue has been resolved. After digging deeper into my settings I found that I
had somehow turned the bias on. Upon turning this off and setting the mic
gain to High I immediately had what appears to be normal ALC indication. I
suspect this happens when you operate mostly CW and data modes...
Have a two year old K3, latest firmware installed. I have noticed for some
time that the ALC reading during SSB operations does not sho any bars at
all. My Mic Gain is set to about 20, Compression to 25 and I receive good
audio reports. There is however no ALC indication. Any help woulw be

They were about 3 kHz apart. Also I tested XIT and RIT. As soon as those are
enabled delta-f should lite up when the encoder is moved. It didnt. It seemed
to be a software glitch which cleared with a power cycling.
If it happens again I will contact tech support.

I keep having problems with my KAT3 finding a match. It always appears
to be an issue that swapping the capacitance between the transmitter
side and antenna side resolves the problem. In other words. when I
can't get the correct match, I swap the capacitor position (using the
configuration
I just have to mention this.
The CW QRQ is just unbelievable. It's like the K3 never goes into TX --
or the RX never turns off. A real miracle of a job well done.

PSK is a low power mode- 40-45 watts is overkill to say the least -
20-25 is even strong. QRPers run 5 watts or less quite successfully with
PSK.
