I do not have a K3 but if you decide to use the WinKeyer USB let me know I have
a basically brand new one I would make you a great deal on.
I used it a bit and it worked great but I just do not have a use for it any
longer.
Thanks

I had the same question but someone else answered it before I got to ask.
If the RF output from the KX3 to the KXPA100 is below 10 watts the power led
will blink to indicate the KXPA100 is in bypass mode.
You are all good to go. If you increase the drive power from the KX3 you will

I might have an RF out issue with my KX3 but I am not sure how to test it.
I have an Elecraft DL1 and a DMM that I figure I can use to check the RF
voltages and verify the power out. However, I am not sure of the exact
process on how to do this. If I am keying the mic on SSB do I need to
speak
Check if the breaker is an AFCI type breaker. If it is there is an article on
the ARRL site with details on how you might get them replaced for free.
I just went through this with mine. Homes built after 2011 have arc fault
tolerant (AFCI) breakers. The RF can cause them to open. I contacted
Absolutely one of the best radio purchase I have made. As others have noted the
PX3 integrated really well with the KX3. Makes operation really smooth and
eliminates the need for a PC.
You will not regret it.

I am curious what flavor of Linux everyone prefers with respect to being
able to run the Elecraft utilities for the KX3 and other software
related to amateur radio.
Thanks in advance for the replies.

Hello Everyone,
I am looking to use my KX3 with an Android type tablet. I am curious if
there are any particular specification for the tablet that I should
consider.
Any details would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

This might be an obvious question for some of you so I am hoping I can
get a quick answer. However, I am very new to this type of equipment and
have no idea if this is normal or not.
I have a brand new PX3 panadapter, even when there is no radio attached
to the unit there are four small

Thanks again,
