The two RCA connections are interchangeable. There is just a relay between

I’ll check when I get back home. We shouldn’t be clipping anything related to

have to interrupt to change ATU relays if the ATU is not bypassed and different

There is a recovery procedure in KX3 Utility Help, Troubleshooting, MCU Load
Failure.
Also connect the KXUSB directly from the PC to the KX3 without an
intervening PX3 or KXPA100 if you get into this situation.

Replacement ear pads, should I ever need them, are $10.
I find in longer contests that I like to change headsets to move the pressure
points. So I have acquired several over the years. My old Sony MD-V is also a
favorite for CW contests.

Thanks
External ALC is enabled on the K3 and K3S with a menu entry that defaults to
OFF. See page 29 of the K3S owner's manual.

The Big Three Automobile manufacturers often looked towards peaks in Monday
auto sales after their models performed well in NASCAR races over the
weekend.
I wonder if amateur radio manufacturers look for similar peaks following
contest events.

I have used a rubberized mat material designed for lining kitchen shelves to
keep keyer paddles in place. That may work for a P3 as well. Something like
“gorilla grip”. There are a number of choices.

I’ve successfully used a Gearmo 4 port USB to serial adapter, which uses the
FTDI chipset, to connect to several devices to one USB hub on my computer.
Amazon has these.
I can also recommend Edgeport, but you’ll also need DE-9 cables from that box
to the radio.
